My love for astrology all started with a book, and here I am, a student who remains eager to learn more. From that day forward, I was a Gemini, and I wore that badge with pride. We flipped through the Gemini pocket book together, and I learned that Geminis are charismatic, clever, intelligent, enthusiastic, and social butterflies. My mom explained that each title was a zodiac sign, and every single one of us has one. On a shelf was a series of pocket books, each one titled with a mysterious sounding word that sparked my interest. I was walking through a bookstore with my mom when I was around 5 or 6 years old, and together, we stumbled across the astrology section. Can you remember the moment when you first discovered astrology? I do. You aren't someone who sees pain as the end but rather as the means to an end. In your case, you could end up taking your painful lessons of the week for the purpose of creating something amazing out of them. You will learn your lessons well this week, Gemini, as you always do, but you'll also be able to channel that anger and frustration into creativity. This week isn't so much rough as it is hardcore, where the lessons are concerned. It just means that you have to be even more vigilant in the future. During transits like Mars square Saturn towards the end of the week, you'll end up more angry at yourself for being such a fool. You won't beat yourself up over it, as you know. You feel as though you've been taken advantage of, and perhaps you have been lied to, as well. While people will tell you not to let your anger eat you up, you'll be the one to decide when it's time to rest your anger and when to use it as fuel. What you might find happening when the Moon square Mars, is that you are able to utilize your anger rather than push it aside. What you know is that you will do whatever it takes to get through this week, and as the truth comes fast and furious, so will your ability to understand your ability to adapt under duress. Three zodiac signs with rough horoscopes the rest of the week: 1. As we round out with Mars in Sagittarius and Moon opposite Mars, we may get the idea that while things didn't work out according to plan, they are still going to work out. So, the 8th house represents the happiness that one will get from their job, children and from education. The 5th house represents one’s primary education, children, and one’s work culture. The 8th house is 12th from 9th house, which means loss in your spirituality.

To start off, it is important to recognize the twelve different astrological signs. These applications are many people’s gateway to the practice and are a recommendable way to dive into astrology. While the study of astrology dates back to ancient cultures, applications like Co-Star and The Pattern have made once incredibly complicated concepts like birth charts and compatibility accessible to the average person. In a world of “Mercury is in Gatorade” tweets, there is widespread confusion about the fundamentals of astrology and how some believe it impacts daily life. The Moon sign wills the chart because it adds emotional depth to the birth chart. Why is your Moon sign so important in compatibility? Then, you can look at our guide to compare the two. Pluto is related to will, and intense passion, and has a reputation for ruthlessness. Pluto rules Scorpio, and is exalted in Leo. The famed God of the Underworld (in Greek mythology the corresponding God is Hades), Pluto is a force for change that can be destructive in its power. From an astrological perspective, however, little Pluto is just as strong as ever! On August 24, 2006, the International Astronomical Union passed a new definition of planet that excludes Pluto and puts it in a new category of dwarf planet. Some astronomers have long argued that Pluto's small size, less than one-fifth the diameter of Earth, and a weird tilted orbit that takes it inside Neptune every couple hundred years, make Pluto more like a Kuiper Belt body than a full-fledged planet. Pluto was discovered in 1930 as a result of an extensive search by astronomer Clyde Tombaugh. It does mean that newly designated dwarf planets such as Eris and Ceres will be given a seat at the table, and are likely to become better understood as astrological symbols before much more time has passed. Since there is a well-established body of research on the very distinctive effects of Pluto in natal charts, by transit, and in combination with other transiting outer planets, we will go on just as always. Of course, this does not diminish its importance for astrologers. Pluto has recently been termed a dwarf planet by a convening of the International Astronomical Union in Prague. The Placidus house system divides time rather than space. However, here at Astrology Library, we consider the Placidus house system our second favorite, not our first choice. List of House Systems Placidus The Placidus house system is probably the most widely-used in the United States and Europe. You can find many summaries of the house systems on the web, so I will only list the most popular and add a few notes below. That is why we have so many different house systems in astrology. Over the years, people have proposed many different formulas for calculating the divisions with both of these methods. Another method is to divide the space inside the Earth’s atmosphere into 12 sections, like sections of an orange. House systems that focus on this method are called “time-based” systems. One method is to divide a day’s time (24 hours and 1 complete revolution of Earth about its axis) into 12 divisions. The purpose of the astrological houses is to divide our reality into sections. It is believed that we exist in time and space. Several methods exist for calculating the line divisions between the houses (house cusps), and not all astrologers use the same method. Most astrology charts are made of a map of the heavens overlayed upon a circle of 12 houses ( see explanation of a Chart Layout). |
